When Payton and I bought our house we had tons of plans for improvements. The first big one being the hall bathroom. Before it was this dingy brown and tan mess with uneven tiles and grout lines and a seashell sink. It needed help and we were going to completely transform it into the 21st century.
As you can see it really needed help. Thankfully we had a good plan and plenty of time to completely y gut the room.
The demo ended up taking a few weeks working a couple of hours a day. The Remodel took even longer. The goal was to completely gut and change the space into something more welcoming and modern,
I’ve always liked the look of concrete countertops . I knew that I wanted to learn how to build them and I ended up using a recipe I found online for a countertop mix.
This was the largest remodel project that I had done and taught me a lot about how much it actually takes to complete a project. I couldn’t have done it without Payton working long hours demoing and installing tile and it helped us gain the confidence to complete more projects in our home.
